Recently, Anhui Haery International Ro-Ro Transportation Co., Ltd.\u5b89\u5fbd\u822a\u745e\u56fd\u9645\u6eda\u88c5\u8fd0\u8f93\u6709\u9650\u516c\u53f8 was established with a registered capital of 900 million yuan. Its business scope includes: international cargo transportation agency, international container ship, general cargo ship transportation, international ship management, supply chain management services, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of this news is its shareholder composition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shareholder information shows that the company is jointly held by Anhui Port and Shipping Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Anhui Port and Shipping Group\u5b89\u5fbd\u7701\u6e2f\u822a\u96c6\u56e2), Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. (referred to as Chery Automobile\u5947\u745e\u6c7d\u8f66), and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd\u6c5f\u6c7d\u96c6\u56e2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is to say, two more major Chinese state-owned auto companies have joined hands with a shipping and logistics group to “enter” the auto transportation market!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Anhui Port and Shipping Group was established by the Anhui Provincial People’s Government with a registered capital of 15 billion yuan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the main platform for the integration of ports, waterways, shipping, port-side industries and related resources in Anhui Province, its annual port throughput exceeds 150 million tons, and it has all the port facilities for waterborne foreign trade ports in Anhui Province, and its container throughput accounts for more than 90% of the province.<\/p>\n\n\n

Chery Automobile, established on January 8, 1997, is a state-owned holding company engaged in automobile production with a registered capital of 4.1 billion yuan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present, Chery Automobile has become the largest self-owned brand automobile manufacturer in China integrating the research and development, trial production, production and sales of complete automobiles, powertrains and key components, and it is also China’s largest exporter of passenger vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n

Jianghuai Automobile  Group, founded in 1964, has become a comprehensive automobile enterprise group integrating the research, production and sales of a full range of commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data show that from January to November 2022,  Jianghuai Automobile Group sold a total of 457,500 vehicles, of which 270,400 were passenger vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 19.19%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up to now, Jianghuai Automobile Group has established a marketing network covering more than 130 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Latin America and other regions, and has exported more than 800,000 vehicles in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The establishment of the Anhui Haery International Ro-Ro Transportation Co., Ltd.\u5b89\u5fbd\u822a\u745e\u56fd\u9645\u6eda\u88c5\u8fd0\u8f93\u6709\u9650\u516c\u53f8 is no surprise to us. In 2022, as the demand for automobile transportation continues to rise, more and more automobile manufacturers have started  participating in the automobile transportation market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In August 2022, COSCO SHIPPING Special Transport, Shanghai Port Logistics, and SAIC Anji Logistics jointly invested in the establishment of the Guangzhou Ocean Car Shipping Co., Ltd.  As an automotive supply chain service provider of a tripartite joint venture between port, shipping, and manufacturing companies, the JV aims to integrate the advantageous resources of all parties and strengthen the collaboration between shipowners and cargo owners, shipping companies and port logistics companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
